Calling All Soldiers!

This year, to celebrate Emmett's 7th birthday, he chose to have an Army Sleepover.
We had a total blast and so did all the boys...11 for the day and 5 overnight.
It was an adventure!
Making his own cake!

The Mission:
We started the party with a scavenger hunt, or "missions."
Here are a few of the stations.

The Face Paint
The Bandanas
The Food and Water Rashions

The breaking down and cleaning of your guns.

Getting ready for training.
The Drill Sargent
Training Day!
Once they had all their gear, they had to go through
a training mission to prepare for the big fight.

A helmet and bullet proof vest to begin.
They were all so into this!
Over the trip wire.......through the tunnel...
...shoot the target...
...under the bridge...
Even Nolan had a blast!
...And then they had to run back to the beginning as fast as they could,
while Sy was timing them.
Then came an awesome game of Tug-O-War.
Followed by their final mission...
Full on war....
with the men for their goodie bags!
After we had pizza, cake, and presents, about half of the kids were picked up,
while the other half stayed then night (5 in all). I got the boys these amazing fort kits for
Christmas, so the entire livingroom became base camp.
They played the Wii, watched movies,
ate popcorn and stayed up until 3 a.m.
Thanks for the helmet, Sister...he wouldn't take it off all night!

And in true sleepover fashion,
the first 2 who fell asleep got their ankles tied together.
Such little pranksters!

What a great party and we are all thoroughly exhausted!

Klamath Bound

We had a much needed weekend away at Uncle Matt and Auntie Nicole's house.
Logan and Cameron were so nice to let us play with all their fun stuff.
Thank you guys, for such a wonderful weekend. We can't wait to do it again soon!

On The Move

It's not on all 4's, but we're gettin' around!

No Pictures, Please.

Daddy, do not take my picture today.
I'm not kidding, I said no pictures today

Crying over spilled milk

Sy thought this was hysterical,

but from one mother to another....

Totally NOT cool!

Happy Valentine's Day!

So, we are not HUGE Valentine's day fans, but now that we have kids, it is definitely worth the decorations! Here is what the boys woke up to, followed by pancakes for breakfast!

Then a heart shaped pizza for dinner...
Thank you, Auntie Sarah, for my I heart Mommy bib!

Cards from Grandma Debbie!

And Jammies from Grandma Allen!

What did I get for Valentine's day? Well funny you should ask.....

A karaoke machine (don't be jealous!)

Curious Jack

Guess who found my kitchen drawer...you know the one,
with all the measuring cups, spoons, tuperware lids, etc.

Such a proud little man!

Monkey Anticipation

Jackson and his BFF Alden.

Jackson at 7 Months

Jackson is growing like a weed. He is almost 16 pounds, he loves to eat baby food and is starting to try people food. He likes to play with cherrios, but can't figure out how to put them into his mouth. He is rolling all over the place and is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking a little. He should be scooting around the house in no time. He is head over heels for his brothers and loves to be entertained. He is kind of a camera hog, loves getting his picture taken.
Yup, we'll keep him!
Hanging out watching the Super Bowl with his buddy, Alden.

I think I hear the 80's calling...

Seriously, how was this EVER cool?

Jackson's first cookie

And his first baby heimlich....awesome!

Grandpa and Grandma Visit

We had a wonderful weekend with Grandpa Gene and Grandma Debbie. Frosting Valentine cookies, shopping in Medford, pizza and bowling, and video games...the boys had a blast! If only we could do this every weekend!
Thank you Grandpa and Grandma, for coming over and visiting with us!
